His Favorite Daughter

I’m not sure what the outside temperature was today, but it reached almost 88 in my house today. Since our electric bill has been out of sight during the winter (we have an electric furnace), I was hoping to avoid running the bill back up. Besides, it’s too early in the year to be running the air conditioner. I have, however, decided what we’re going to do with at least part of the money we get from the tax stimulus check - we’re getting a new ceiling fan for the living room!
How is it where you live? Has “old man winter” finally decided to go on vacation? Or are you still waiting for the first signs of spring to arrive? Whatever the weather where you live, please be in prayer for the families that have lost loved ones or their homes recently due to tornadoes, cyclones, or other forces of nature.

I know I haven’t been very faithful in keeping my blog up to date. I’ve had a lot of work to do recently, and I figured making some money was important. In fact, this is what I KNOW I have to do this month, so far: 12 work-at-home articles and 30 miscellaneous articles to write, a 7-9 page report to write, and I also need to finish editing 10 website modules. There may be other work for me to do, as well, but I don’t know for sure. Only time will tell.

So, as you can see, I keep pretty busy considering I do the writing on top of homeschooling. I’d love to say that I also care for the house, but that hasn’t been the case in almost 3 years due to health issues. I don’t even cook much anymore, which bothers me. But, at least I’m contributing to the family budget, so I’m not going to beat myself up too much about it.
