I’m sure it must be PMS, but he’s a boy!

My oldest son, who is now 10, is about to drive me nuts today. If he were a girl I would swear he’s having his first dose of PMS. But, he’s NOT a girl, he’s all boy!
So, I’m trying to figure out why my boy is weepy and fussy and whiny today. I still haven’t figured it out, but I’m ready for him to be over it.
I’m the only woman in the house, and I’m the only one that should be having PMS symptoms, so I don’t know what to do or how to handle it. All I know is that if he were a girl I’d give him some Midol and tell him to go lie down. What do you do with a boy?
Maybe it’s just that his hormones are starting to kick in and he’s about to go through puberty. That’s the only thing I can figure out. But, I don’t remember my brother going through this type of thing, but that was a LONG time ago. I might not remember it that well.
Well, I’m going to have to talk to my hubby about it when he gets home from work and see if he remembers anything like that happening when he started going through puberty. I’m sure I didn’t handle the whole incident well, but I’m still learning how to deal with boys. Maybe it’s a lost cause. LOL
Have a blessed week!

For a boy - hard labor. If it *is* a puberty thing, that’s what helps them. Sweat and tired muscles. It’s their version of a “good cry.” Have him dig a hole and fill it back in, or something.
