Another one bites the dust

Yep, another Democratic Presidential candidate has dropped out from the race. Just Tuesday I listed the remaining candidates - Edwards, Clinton, Obama, Kucinich, and Gravel. Well, now it’s down to four - Kucinich dropped out of the race today.
If you’re a Democrat, that should make things a little bit easier for you in regard to choices for voting in the next Primary. If you’re a Republican, it doesn’t really help a whole heck of a lot. Well, I guess it allows you to know who else you don’t have to NOT vote for, but that’s about it.
I have to wonder if another Republican is going to drop by the wayside to keep the sides even. I doubt it. But, you never can tell.
I also heard in the last day or so that Sylvester Stallone has decided to endorse John McCain for President. I don’t know that Sly’s “star power” will really help him out, although it did seem like Mike Huckabee got a boost in the ratings after Chuck Norris endorsed him. Stranger things have happened.
Super Tuesday is less than two weeks away. 22 states will go to the polls on February 5 to vote in their own Primaries. It will be interesting to see who pulls ahead, and who drops out after that day.
Until then, you can be sure I’m going to keep my ear to the news. I’m also going to step up my prayers because I surely don’t want to cast my vote for someone without asking God for HIS opinion on the whole deal. ![]()
Be blessed, have a great Friday!
