So, I’ve given up making New Year’s resolutions because it’s pointless. I never keep them, reminder.jpg so I don’t make them. What about you, though? Do you make New Year’s resolutions? And how good are you at keeping them?

I really do need to make some changes in my life. I need to become more organized, get rid of personal (weight) and physical clutter, and I need to figure out a new way to homeschool. What I’ve been doing in regard to each of these areas hasn’t been working, so I need to spend some time in prayer trying to understand what God would have me do.

My hubby has another week off of work. I’m hoping we can actually get some things accomplished. He SAID we were going to clean the house from one end to the other. So far, absolutely nothing has happened except for spending a LOT of time running around. And, I really don’t know if next week is going to be any better.

Oh, we’re being blessed with an automatic dishwasher. A friend of ours got a new one when she moved and really doesn’t have the need for another. We’re going to pick it up on Tuesday. I really can’t wait. It will make doing dishes MUCH easier than doing them by hand, and since my boys are doing the dishes, with a dishwasher they’ll probably get much cleaner, too. LOL

It’s getting close to bed time, so I guess I’m going to close. I pray you have a blessed Sunday.

I don’t make resolutions as much as I make goals and then a plan to get there. Resolutions are more of a wish with no plan of making them come true…in my opinion. This year I have a few for my business and personal life. I try not to overload myself or I might just let them go and not work towards making them happen.

I totally agree, Nell. And thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web. :) Knowing what you need to change, without making a plan for success is pointless. I’m working on my own plan, too.
