Only three more days

Then I won’t have to listen to the music for the play the kids are in. However, until then, christmasstar.jpg this thing will engulf our lives and make a mess out of them.

The boys have practice tomorrow night - 5:30p.m. for the oldest with a speaking part, 6:3op.m. for the younger one in the choir. Then on Saturday at 9a.m., the oldest has to be BACK for practice, with the younger one coming in at 10:00a.m. On Sunday, the speaking cast has to be back at the church by 3:30p.m. and the choir at 4:00p.m. The play is at5:00p.m.

All this wouldn’t be so bad if  we lived within a couple minute’s drive of the church, but we don’t. It’s about a 40 minute drive to the church from our house, so it’s not like we can just go back home for a while and then take the other one; go home and then go back. Nope, we have to stay down there the whole time both of them are busy. It’s really a pain in the butt sometimes.

They’re supposed to be having an altar call after the play. I’m praying there are a number of people that get saved. It will really do a lot to bolster the kids’ faith. I’ll try to remember to come back and report what happens. I’m also praying that my oldest will remember his lines, not be TOO jittery, and stay on key during his song. I’d appreciate any prayers you might say along the same lines, too.

Be blessed, it’s my bedtime.
