Quick, can you tell me?

Why is it that when I have something I really need to do, that’s when the kids decide they can’t cooperate and be nice? I guess since neither of them enjoy writing much, they don’t understand how much you need to be able to think, to concentrate to get just the right words in the right order. But no, they are being themselves, and themselves is BOYS!
I realize that little girls can be loud and boisterous, I used to be one many, MANY moons ago. I could get rowdy just as well as my brothers, maybe even more so, but I also had an off switch. I think God forgot to install that vital piece of equipment when He formed my boys in the womb. Either that, or the silly thing is stuck in the ON position, and there’s no hope.
I really do wish I could bottle and sell some of their exuberance! I mean, if I could do that, I would be rich! I might even be able to help pay down some of the National Debt, I mean this stuff is potent! My youngest has so much energy that after Dad and I have gone to bed, he sneaks out of bed, turns on the light, stays up. I NEVER did that, so I’m not sure how to deal with it. Man, I wish I had some of that energy!
Well, I guess I’d better stop daydreaming. I can’t bottle their energy, so I might as well start considering the things I CAN control. And one of those is getting my work done, as I try desperately to ignore the noise and fussing. Maybe I’ll even be able to get some more of it done. I sure hope so!!
Be blessed and have a great Wednesday evening!

Mara I don’t know why it seems to be this way but when you find out please let me know
I only have one but he certainly finds the worst times (when I’m trying to meet a deadline, etc, etc) to lash out. Interesting isn’t it? LOL
