Hallelujah!

Things with the cat have settled down and now all they do is play. There’s an occasional growl but overall the cats are just playing. They’re really comical to watch, too. The kitten is small enough to walk right under the cat, and the cat doesn’t like that. She also doesn’t like that Comet can get into nooks and crannies that she can’t make it into. Waysaw will sit outside the hole the kitten has crawled into and wait patiently for her chance to pounce!

We’re thinking about adding yet another pet to the household - on top of the two cats, ball python, bearded dragon, and border collie. My husband has been wanting a Great Pyrenese for quite some time, so we’ve - rather *I’ve* - been looking online for some close by. We won’t get a purebred because they’re too expensive, but we’re looking. We have some friends that have a pair and have already offered us one of the puppies when they’re born, but their dogs are still too young for puppies. So, it’ll be several months and I don’t know if he’ll want to wait that long. lol

So, we don’t celebrate Halloween, as a general rule. However, there are “harvest” things going on that we’re expected to show up for. Tonight there’s a Harvest Festival at Cathedral Caverns, which is a local attraction. My mother-in-law plays with a dulcimer group and they’re playing tonight, so of course she wants us to show up. My husband makes and sells Native American Flutes and they’ve asked that he bring some to play as well. Of course, no pay is involved, but it would be good for exposure. Maybe someone will fall in love with a flute and ask to buy one. We can only hope and pray. :) Here are some of the flutes he makes, and yes - that is PVC pipe flutes, too.

Well, I didn’t get anything done on the report yesterday, and I won’t have a chance to work on it tomorrow, so I’d BETTER get something done today - especially since it’s due on Wednesday!

Be blessed, have a great Saturday, and don’t forget to go worship God tomorrow. You’ll be glad you did.
