His Favorite Daughter

There’s been a lot of babies being born (and lost ) around me lately.  There are several ladies at church that have just had babies, and still a few more are pregnant, and now I just found out a friend of mine just told me she’s pregnant.

She has four boys already - 13, 6, almost 2, and 5 months - and now she’s going to have another. Well, all I can say is, I’m glad it’s her and not me!  I take that back, I would like to have a little girl in the family, and so would my boys. I just don’t see it happening, though. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that all I’m going to have is my two precious boys. That’s ok. I can live with that since I was told I would never have any.

I got sidetracked and didn’t finish my my Bible study yesterday, and I was hoping I’d have a few minutes to myself so I could do that this morning. No luck - my oldest decided to get up almost as soon as Dad walked out the door. Sigh - oh well, I’ll get it done DESPITE his being up!

Hubby has to work tomorrow morning, which doesn’t happen all that often. The company he works for has inventory, and since he’s the only person in his department - that falls to him to do. Hopefully he won’t be gone too long, but I like the overtime pay.
